Car Wrap Maintenance Tips

After having a vehicle wrap installed there are a few things you can do to ensure the longevity of your wrap.
1) Hand-wash your vehicle. Automated car washes are too harsh and often times will make holes or wear on your wrap. If you develop a routine of handwashing instead this will help you get the maximum life span out of your wrap.
2) Deal with stains quickly. If you get a substance on your wrap that leaves a stain be sure to treat the area immediately. Stains can be caused by hazards encountered on the road or by mother nature. To treat the stains soak the area in warm soapy water. If that doesn't work you can try a cleaner like Simple Green or rubbing alcohol. Be sure to rinse the treated area thoroughly with cool water after you are finished cleaning it.
That's it! Vinyl wraps are low maintenance and not much you need to do to keep them looking great. Stop in or call us here at Banks Wraps & Signs if you have any questions or would like to get your wrap scheduled today.
